Miss Maynard's 6th grade class at Garfield Elementary was too much fun for the guys. We drove a substitute teacher crazy one day, and she was the minister's wife. We paid dearly for our fun. Rev. Willey was the minister at First Christian, Moline, and Mr. Bandle, our principal, was a member there. Bandle is standing on the right. He insisted on lines being straight before we could go back in after recess.
