Rest in Peace, Karen L. Sommers, MHS 66

Karen L. Sommers

Karen L. Sommers, 70, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2019, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Karen was born on October 9, 1948, in Moline, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Ruth A. (Sparling) Sommers.  She had worked as a pricing analyst at Deere & Co.  Karen was an avid reader and she enjoyed researching genealogy.

Survivors include sister, Ann C. Lindahl, Portage, MI; brothers, Reed (Julie) Sommers, Port Byron, and Craig (Diane) Sommers, Moline; a niece and 6 nephews; numerous great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.

Memories may be shared on the tribute wall.
