Sometimes one spouse does not live to the 50th wedding anniversary, but the date is still the golden anniversary, even in this grief-denying society of ours. I am listing all golden anniversary posts here and also putting this post in the left column with the rings graphic.

Happy 50th Anniversary, Steve Quick and Susan Ogle, and God's Blessings

This is first 50th anniversary I have run across for MHS 1966, The Class the Stars Fell On. Steve retired as a Colonel in the Air Force, which is the highest field grade officer ranking, requiring 22 years of service plus 3 years as a Lt. Colonel.

Thank you for your service to our country, Steve, and thank you for being a military wife, Susan.

GJ - My wife and I enjoyed being with Steve and Susan at Lago's, at the previous get-together. Steve retired as a full colonel, a distinguished record.
